ps. they should def. be sick looking!! Oh and womens: P

im not basing everything off of what they look like...that should just be a plus!! & why not womens...they shitty?!

hate hate hate hate.....should have said what you are looking to do with them, where u r from, your weight and heigt, skiing ability...giving a discription of what u want to use them for helps narrow ski choice down, because when u say u just want skis there are alot of option, for park and east coast i would look at

arw

volkl prl

k2 missdomeaner

for your height and weight look at about 160-169 for length

Or the line pandoras. Super sick chick ski and would work nice coming from snowboarding. I really can't believe there was comments knockin the chick for grammar and wanting something that looks good though. Goddamn folks your gonna scare her back to a snowboard...lol

I'm a chick myself so I have every right to tell another chick not to buy off of the graphics.

And yes to the person above.

this thread is a horrible representation of how NS can actually help people but anyways

are you going to be skiing more park or all mountain stuff?

i will be skiing pa snow...and im thinking all mountain but yes i will be attempting terrain park! oh and im 5'6" and 135!! if that helps!

for a sort of all mountain ski that can still handle it in the park you might like the ARVw or the K2 Missdemeanor, both are relatively bigger underfoot but still suitable to ride in the park. If you are open to trying guys skis, the K2 recoils or line blends would do you well.

are there any brands you are partial to or have easier access to (ie at a shop or whatever)

Speaking of guys skis, I have a female friend who jus got the 2012 line bacons in a 172. She got to ride em last spring and said they're the best ski she's ever been on.

And on that note my wife skis the pandora on the east coast for everything and loves it. That's why I mentioned that ski earlier. It's a wide ski and it's been my experience that peeps comin from snowboarding like the wider skis. But a mid width would be those line bacons. A dedicated park ski is gonna likely be eh for all mountain but the bacons will def rip park/pow/groomers. My wife also rips her pandoras in the park too though.

I would reccomend rockered park skis like Armada Alpha's, they are amazing in park, butter like nothing and shred the pow because theyre rockered. U dont really need womens skiis, its mostly a gimmik to make a woman happier with thier ski. Women do have different balance points then men but it all comes down to what flex, spring, size of ski and what u want to be able to shred.

hmm well if you are superr nice and take care of me, when i move out to nv..i will make you anything you want, including a sandwich: )

This guy has it right. The poster that said not to go for a women's ski is completely off track, since they are actually made for females. NOT because they have pretty flowers but because they are actually made to accomodate to a woman's body. Women in general are lighter and not as aggressive, so a ski that has a more forgiving flex is ideal.
