Need help on a video camera for skiing.

So i am thinking about getting a video camera for skiing and other things that i do. but i know nothing about any video cameras. what is a good basic camera that takes clear shot and thats not to expencive.

uhh, we need more infos, like how expensive should it be, do you want to shoot HD, ...

Before you can start filming, you need to make sure what you want and you also need some general camera skills, the media and arts forum would be a good point to start from.
