NEED HELP +K

I am looking for a camera stabilizer, of some sort in the sub-$100 range. I am considering the Scorpion EX Cam Caddie: http://www.camcaddie.com/sk8/scorpion_EX.php

I was just wondering if it is worth it for the money, and if there are any better quality stabilizers in the said price range.

I have the Opteka X-Grip (same design as the one you posted) and I find it to be useless for anything else than filming skateboarding. Unless you film skating I think you will be much better of building a fig rig witch I think will make it allot easier to hold your camera steady when skiing.
