Need Help Finding a New Pair of Skis

Hello NS!

My name is Jonas and I ski on the East Coast, mostly in the beautiful man made Pensilvania snow. I am an advanced intermediate, that skis mostly in the park but love to throw groomers in through out the day and try to go off trail when I can. I currently have spent the past two season on Volk Ledges. While being fun, their durability has been terrible and I have already gone through two pairs of them. I liked the symmetrical design, and rocker camber rocker profile, but not like the thin width of the waist, tip, and tail. I'm looking for a new pair of skis that will help me progress in the park, and also allow me to ski on groomers and small off trail stuff I do when I go out west or when snow conditions are good. I am 17 years old 5'10, and 185 pounds. I currently do not have price restriction and plan to mount them with my griffons. I have been interested in the Armada Halo 2 and Line Chronic, but want to know what advice people out there have! Thanks!

First off, I like how you actually put effort into asking about new skis to get and got zero responses in two days but kids who make a thread that just says "what park skis should I get????!?!??!@$?^%$YRTS^^!" with absolutely no other info get a bunch of responses.

That being said, I would recommend looking into the PB&J:

The width on the pbj is going to bump you up to 101, so quite a bit from the ledges you're on, but you'll jump right into riding them without any trouble. Not so wide that you'll have trouble in the park, but wide enough to keep you floating when you do come out west. Same camber profile as the ledges, with the early rise in the tip and tail.

The pbj is not fully symmetrical and usually mounted 5cm back from true center, but can easily be skied in the park, groomers and trees. I've had friends mount them dead center as well as 2cm back and still had plenty of fun on them. At 5'10 185lbs I'd say go with the 182 size.

Yeah just noticed that haha. Thank you so much for the suggestions! I'll defiantly put those on the list.

They don't even make halo 2s anymore, they now have the b dog which is sapposed to be softer but I heard they don't carve great, I would looking into on3p Kartel 98s I've never read anything bad about them
