Need help fellow applers

well you know in ichat and you click the plus sign to add a buddy and a window pops up and that window says like select and entry from your address book or add a new person....well in that first window there is like two coloms one lables group and it is selected on ALL and next to that another colum that says name and then instant messaging.. I made an entry into there its the only entry on the list and i want to delete but dont know how

any help?

drag and drop? control click? i'm not on my mac right now so i can't look at it but....usually whatever seems like the easiest way ends up being the easiest way.
