my dad is going to a shop tommorow to get a new pair of park sticks for me as my patents died and are going in for warrenty(if they can be warrentied they will be urban skis)

the shop carries line, k2, moment and armada

im 6'0 185lbs and ski 90% park, the rest is trees pow and chutes (on the rare ocasion there is any)

so basicly im looking for a park specific that can still carve, and has a little float.

in park i hit around 60% jibs 40% jumps and the jumps average at 35ft and top out at 50ft so nothing bigger than that

i am looking at Moment: Reno Rockers 181 (woried a little about softness+rocker), and Reno Jibs 181 or 186

K2: Kung fujas (i like wider skis in the park) 179 (might be a lil' short)

Armada: Ar6s 181, Thall's 181, alpha 2 182

Line: Bacons in park? i liked lizzies but a lil' too soft and short

+K for quik and legit responses

Since your shop carries K2 if they have the extremes in a good size i would think about getting those. I am 6'1 and 180 lbs and i just got extremes in a 184 and they're great skis. They skis switch fine even thought there isn't a symmetrical side cut the ski still skis switch just as well as a pair of reno jibs that I had. They handle speed fine without any chattering. On jumps they are stiff enough to not chatter on the in run and they are poppy as hell. The biggest jump that i've been on with them was 45-50 feet and the skis were great. I was skiing in 2 feet of fresh and they float as well as any park ski does in pow. On rails they are poppy enough to hop onto any rail or box that I could find(street style down and flat boxes/rails). Overall these skis are great and if you choose to buy them you should mount the skis at true center and not the suggested core center so you have a more symmetrical feeling park ski.

The AR6 and THall are the only skis on the list that I have directly used (at least in the park - I've used Bacons and Kung Fujas all-mountain and powder). I personally liked the AR6 better, just felt a little washier on the THall. The AR6 was SO nice carving around and going off jumps but still held their own on rails too. They are one of my all time favorite skis for sure, so that'd be my personal pick.

i worked all summer and got a winter job, and am going to be working again all summer. my parents are paying for 0% of this ski

i demoed a pair of extremes earlier in the season and just didnt like them at all, i could pop high, but that was the only thing that apealed to me, felt dead and not playfull at all imo

Also my post above this is directed to the first poster

ya I know what you mean it took me a few days to get used to them but whatever. Good luck finding a pair of skis

I was going to say chronics maybe? Considering the size jumps your hitting and you want a stiffer ski i dont think that would be a bad choice, it may not be centermount but line's pros still slay rails on them( LJ strenio). There a decent width at 85 and think it would be worth lookign at the,

narrowed it down to kung fujas, ar6s, and moment reno jibs. does any one know how the flex is on all of these?
