Need help deciding what seasons pass to get (Stowe or triple major)

So last year my friends and I went with the Stowe pass through UVM. This is what I want to do again this year however everyone else wants to get the triple major (Jaypeak, Mad River and Bolton). The reason I want the Stowe pass is because their park is sick and they have some nice BC and glades. Jay peak obviously has nice glades but their park isn't great. Bolton also has night skiing and I don't really know about Mad River because I have never skied there. Just wondering what you guys think?

I say Stowe.

The triple major has its plusses: Jay Peak has some amazing snow and access to Big Jay, which has some awesome sidecountry. The park there is so-so, but can be fun. There are some spots with great terrain, and when you get the good snow, its amazing. Jay does have the "Jay Cloud" which some say brings more snow to jay than other Northern VT resorts. Personally, I've been there a handful of times and haven't had the good snow.

Mad River is definitely better than Jay, but lacks a park and the snowmaking (but who needs those anyway). Mad River has some ill terrain and I never got a chance to experience it.

Bolton is solid. Night skiing, decent park, solid side country. Honestly, its about 35 minutes away. Stowe is 45.

Stowe has it all. Their parks were pretty good last year, and have improved quite a bit since i first skied there four years ago. They get just as much snow as Jay I would say, and has access to more and better sidecountry.

I think my opinion is definitely biased since i spent four years skiing stowe and never got a triple major, but ive skied jay, bv, and mrg, and would say if you want a bit of everything, ski stowe.

This I have to agree with.
Really think about what you want to do. The triple major offers very limited options in terms of park. Jay has a park, but for 90% of the year it's a badly shaped block of ice. Bolton also has a park, which was unbelievable 4 years ago when they had funding, but has been pretty bad since.
Lev hit the nail on the head in regards to Jay.
I grew up skiing Mad River, it is f'in awesome...if you know it. It will definitely take you at least 10 days to know your way around, the trees are thick at all the entrances to the good stuff. Most people get a triple and don't really make it to MRG that much as they have snowboarders that want to go or they are hung over and got to Bolton.
Stowe was my favorite mainly based on its side country access. The notch has hands down the best lift accessed terrain in the east. With short hikes you can get to a ton. Jumps are also the best out of all the mountains around short of Loon and Mt. Snow.
Sugarbush was also a mountain I skied for a number of years growing up. It is really sick, but the large majority of the kids that blindly hype it on here have only skied North or Mt. Ellen, the smaller side w/ the park. I love north, it's like a better version of Bolton, plus there is access to slidebrook (area between the mountains) from which you can catch a bus back to the lifts. The parks are great too, really awesome, creative, snowboarderish rail set-ups. The jumps have sucked in the past, but Tony, the park manager is a good dude and might pull it together this year (and if he does, they will be unrivaled in the area). South has dope terrain, but it gets skied quickly. Castle rock is similar to Mad River in it's terrain.
Stowe gets my vote if you want park, trees, and side country. Sugarbush as a close second. Triple if you are less of a park skier.

Thanks for that, I think we will be going with Stowe after your review which is good for me because I would rather go there anyway.

Oh and ++k

Bush is an excellent option that everyone over looks because "it's farther away than Stowe" , "Stowe gets more snow" and "Stowe is the best!"

I never even thought about Bush coming into UVM freshman year, but when kids told me about it I tried it out last year and it's my choice for sure. Such a fun mountain, jumps are poop though, park is super fun other than that.

Jay has the best terrain out of any mountain in the east. One of my favorite mountains, but it is lacking the park department and it is a drive.

I need to make it to MRG. I have heard good things.
