For winter break, my family and at least one of my friends families is heading out to utah for skiing. We havent picked which resort we want to stay at yet. The moms are pretty much decided on park city, but I really want to go to Alta. My mom says we can't stay there because it's too hard for her but we can take a day trip.

I need some good articles/websites that say that theres parts of alta that arent that hard. thanks

just tell them you want to be just like tanner hall

MY ANCLES

just have them drop you off their or you take the bus to Alta. I mean... you're most likely not going to be skiing with your parents anyway.

Good luck bro. I love Alta to death, but its not to good for moms usually... i know there is one place to the left side thats mellower... also theirs snowbird right next to it... PC has a kickass park, and since shes gonna let you do a day trip, id say just go with it

unless the canyon is shut down, stay in PC or SLC and drive up to Alta. there is literally NOTHING up at Alta. except a few hotels, resorts. you will have stuff to do if you stay in PC vs Alta.

im headed out there in January, and staying in PC and just making the drive to different resorts to ski at.

and unless your mom rips, she probably wont like Alta. i would suggest Brighton over Alta if your mom is not super great at skiing.

Yeah alta is not the best family resort. Snowbird is more family oriented i guess. Ive been to all 3 and i thought park city was okay skiing but the town is super fun!

Dude, hit up The Canyons... just do it.. plus it's mom friendly and has some sick skiing. Their park was pretty fun too if I remember right, I've only been there twice.

Well you could start by explaining how fucking expensive it is over at PC. And how its a better "family" resort at Alta.
