Need computer help with virus

somehow i just wrecked my dads computer wrecked with a huge virus and i have no idea what too do, iv been tryin to scan it with the norton computer scan but its not finding it, any help would be amazing right now cause im kinda freaking out

go to download.comsearch Spybot Search&Destroydownload it, run it.awesome and free. keeps my shitty computer runnin.
 
is it safe too do?

i think norton is finding it its just taking a while, about a quarter the way through and its found 5 trojans and 3 spywares, hopefully it will be good
 
oh shit sun looks like you fucked up

if you don't care about any of you're programs or files that much you can just reload windows

or even just save some specific files to an external and then reload windows ive had to do that before when i really fucked shit up
 
Malwarebytes and Avast! they are both free And are the best programs for actually removing the malicious file. Norton, AVG, ect simply put the file in a virus vault. So it's technically still on your computer.

if the virus doesn't let you access the site go on it on a different computer and it will give you instructions on how to do it without opening internet explorer.
 
AVG free is pretty legit as well, i had trend macro, didn't find anything, got AVG free and ound 66 spyware and 4 viruses, after that i got a mac

dude i have tried everything and I can't get it off my fucking computer. It doesn't affect it badly anymore i've gotten all of its attached mini virues off but god damn it slows it up. i need to just referbish my computer yet be able to not loose any music or picture files
 
Put that into a zipped folder and put it on SkyDrive if you have Hotmail. Up to 25 GB's can be stored absolutely free.
