Need argments/points for debate

my teacher gave me a preaty hard topic and im having trouble comming up with arguments to support it,

here is the topic "Befor a student graduates from college or university, she or he should preform mandatory service in the military or other social institutions (hospital,seniors home,food bank,ect.)"

and as i said im having trouble comming up with any arguments for the proposition

anyone have any ideas?

yea pretty much your gonna have to sound like a huge fag.thats so stupid that they make you argue for something you dont believe in..it dosnt really show how well you can debate
