long story short i want to get into some backcountry/pow/jib skiing. i have narrowed down to a list of skis but could use some advice from people much more knowledgeable when it comes to this type of ski.i don't want a one ski quiver, but i would like a fatty ski i can use on the groomers from time to time and throw in the park a little.

i've searched the forums as much as i can but still can't find good comparisons. im 5'9" and fairly experienced, but i've always ridden somewhat cheap skis. (last pair were k2 silencers maybe 175ish cm).

I came up with a list of skis im interested in but could use some help narrowing down on a ski a that would suit my needs:

-icelantic gypsy

-line mr. pollards opus

-liberty double helix

-atomic bent chetler

-moment bibby pro

-on3p caylor

like i said before, i'm on here because i don't have any expereince/little knowledge with this type of ski and would love some help narrowing down which would be my best option.

The Caylor is a big everyday ski to throw around. As long as you're down for a little work, it can work as a fatty one ski quiver. If you want more all mountain performance, the Jeffrey at 108 underfoot may be a better pick.

I don't think i want an all mountain ski; I can switch to my k2 silencers if it's a real shitty day.

but i figured it shouldnt be too hard to play with a fat ski on the groomers.

it was a joke; in hind site proly not the best name lol

i'm just looking for some good advice and comparisons for these skis and hopefully some tips on which would be better suited for me

I would highly reccomend the crop duster (http://www.epicplanks.com/s/crop-duster/)Sounds like it would suit your needs in being an awesome pow ski with plenty of versatility. I've skied them for a season now with no complaints or durability issues and a decent price.

i like them, but i think i will be straying more toward the bamboo core skis; more durable and lighter in comparison to the poplar.

im liking the caylors and will probably stray towards those, since there seems to be only good vibes for them
