I've watched the wire, dexter, breaking bad, sons of anarchy, the good seasons of nip tuck, always sunny, trailer park boys, the office like five times over at least...
im thinking deadwood but i heard it ended prematurely which sucks dick, and the sopranos just doesnt draw me for some reason even though ive seen a few episodes.
convince me to watch one of those or suggest something else....please!

Entourage is also incredibly addicting.

The way I see it, if it wasn't on HBO or Showtime, and it's not a comedy (the office) then you're wasting your time.

Also, The Sopranos is pretty incredible as well.

and sorry i forgot to mention ive seen entourage and eastbound. i mentioned that ive seen breaking bad too but people keep saying it.

duchovny plays a frustrated writer living in LA who's essentially a sex addict and a bit of an alcoholic. he's incredibly likable, though, and hilarious.

has a daughter and baby mama who he absolutely adores but can't seem to keep out of trouble. it's an incredibly entertaining, moving show. it's often hilarious but extremely serious subject matter. and the finale of season 3 is one of the finest pieces of television i've ever seen, hands down.

it's only 3 seasons and the episodes are pretty quick (like 23-30 minutes) so you can bang 'em out real fast and look forward to season 4 like the rest of us. highly, highly recommend it.
 
Actually this. Disregard everything else in this thread until you watch Eastbound and Down. Its only like 6 episodes I think so far so it won't take long, and its totally fucking worth it.
 
everyone knows that southpark is the shit because if something happens during the week, you can count on southpark making fun of it. soo great
 
TWIN PEAKS. fuck! i can't stress this enough. watch twin peaks, it's got a cult following for a reason, it's fucking amazing.

mad men is alright

DEADWOOD IS AWESOME, WATCH IT! characters are fucking amazing.

six feet under is decent, i only saw the first couple seasons though

samurai champloo if you like cartoon series, samurai, and hip hop.

skins, british teen drama. sex n drugs and drama. yep.

Rome, pretty sick.
