So i only get to ski once or twice a year and i have now decided to get my own skis instead of renting. Im debating between Line Chronics, Armada ARV or maybe the THALL. I ride mostly park but also a bit of powder. I would like somehting that isnt that heavy as i aam 16 and now a buff motherfucker. And something that is a bit bigger than 84 underfoot. I dont hit big kickers as im a beginner at freestyle.

thanks

My guess is that beacuse you only ride once or twice a year, your park skills are not great, which is fine. If money is an issue get something cheap that you dont give a shit if they get fucked, Learning is hard on the gear. K2 Press are super cheap, 450w/bindings, HEAD The show are around there too. Pure park skis wont do a ton for your non-park ski form, but if your not riding deep pow or carving it up on the double blacks you should be fine.

Yeah its not like im riding deep pow, its only on the occasionally Pow day i do. how about atomic punx? saw a pretty good deal on them and have ridden them on rentals before. Would those be good for park/all mountain?

I have Punx. For what you need, I don't feel like Punx are the proper skis. They are pretty much park specific, not too great outside of the park. But you can still do it. There are probably better options.

If you like those they would be a fine choice inexpensive and a good ski for all mountain and park wouldn't the worst in powder but will be a lot easier to ride on groomers
