Natural hill as drop in?

I have lots of hills in my yard so I'm not going to bother making a drop in. I think I'm going to put turf and orange fence on top of plywood and lay it on the hill. Will this work? Does anyone have any experience using a hill as a drop in?

Thats exactly how i built mine, it should work fine

There's no reason why it shouldn't work, as long as your hill is big enough to get up to speed your fine

Possible, yes. Practical? No.

Unless you have a large crew with you to help carry and move the plywood, as well as a nice large truck it's not very practical. a 6x4 piece of plywood is heavy, large and awkward, for a the run up you would want two pieces + a prebuilt ramp + a 12 foot rail and you've got a lot of crap to carry with you to your local park.
