Nationals Coarse was horrible

that sssuucckkss... it looked wicked sick in the video that was posted in another thread like 2 weeks back

Yeah my friend was there and he said the the first jump everyone overshot by like 30ft and everyone knuckled the rest

your in nationals your suppose to be the best in your sport ... you should be able to ski any course and send it ... time to start skiing and quit crying .

i went out with sergei. course was mad sketchy from what i saw and plus the blizzard conditions that occured on that day. we met matt smith there too. he seemed like he did ok considering the conditons but i didnt see his score

yea i wouldn't assume just because it is called "nationals" that it has the best riders. Most of the time you get some decent riders, but most go because it is called "nationals" and not much else.

Nationals hardly has the best riders, usually just the kids who have enough cash to enter usasa contests until they qualify and then to pay for airfare and lodging for contest with a name way larger than the caliber. Same as ussa.

the course should be better next year. keystones park guy is coming to copper so copper will now actually have a legit park.

Max shut the fuck up.
He's got a point you know. There aren't jumps in VA. i didn't learn how to jump till i came to uvm.
stop being so damn pretentious.

Yea i hate them. I paid 80 dollars to enter a comp, then got the highest score out of everyone, and they ended up raffling the prizes. all I got was some stickers =/. I know its a comp series but common... raffle prizes?

im not tryin to be a jerk im jus saying my 1 jump park was (to me) a little betterCopper has tons of potential of being a good park

same here, my mountain has the worst comps. the judges just sit at the bottom of jumps. they only see the last half of the tricks. say you hit the jump switch, they have no clue cause they are judging from the bottom. its awesome!

I can second the OP, the course wasn't put together very well. The cannon was pulled out which really bummed me out at first. Then I started hitting the jumps and it got even worse, second one was super easy to overshoot (which I did and busted my shit on the second practice hit after knuckling the first). Then the third jump got knuckled all day, the only good features left were the flat box/pipe up option top and the last up down rail/box.
USASA/Copper edit from UVM FST dropping soon...

hahaha, i was talking to one of the woodward guys and he said the same thing. he said you almost had to stop after the first jump to hit the second one just to not over shoot it

Funny story. I stopped to watch the Snowboard cross practice... they literally had to hop the first 1/4th of the track. Me and my boyfriend were laughing hysterically. Some of them even fell down on to their knees and crawled. I shit you not. I died.
