Anyone read this? What a fucking inspirational article and badass story. Really wish more news existed about things like this instead of the BS thats on tv on a daily basis. I could read articles like this all day.

Been seriously considering doing a 2 year enlistment myself..this just makes me want to do it that much more. Especially after my 2 years at work is up. Think it would really be a great life booster....two years investment banking then 2 years military then grad school. Instead of the usual 2 years IB then PE or hedge fund then grad school

Joining the service really shapes people up, physically and mentally. I'm going to sacrifice skiing in two years and Join the Navy as an EOD. Continuing the family tradition. I'm not sure if I'm going to make a career out of it and stay in for 20 years or just 4 years. It is an amazing adventure from what I've heard. A lot of ups and downs.

I read about a 2 year enlistment program. You know if they still do this? I really don't want to go in for more than that at this point in my life. very curious though.
