Anyone know if Nashoba is going to get a park up this year? If they are, who should I get in touch with if I wanna work a few nights a week in the park?

Also, if you're not from the Boston area then appreciate what you have. It's looking like this is gonna be two years in a row my local (bradford) won't be able to set up a park at all because of the weather. Massachusetts down bad fr

is Wachusett too far? they usually have a pretty solid park

No chance nashoba puts up a park, best case it’s up for a week and then gets rained out. Rip their park from 8ish years ago

I'm in Cambridge rn so billy-rad and Nashoba are really my only options under an hour drive.

Trying to decide if its worth it to work nights at bradford anyway. I do love a good ice chunk ollie.....

Honestly on par with the heads that hit carinthia/snow from nyc/ct

I was gonna say day trips from CT to snow are 2 and a half hours no traffic and we would do that once or twice a weekend and go out after

For everyone saying Wachusett the quality of there parks since they moved them from Look Mom to Hitchcock have dwindled significantly. There's 4 to 5 times less features then there used to be and getting to watch from the lift and scope lines was really awesome. Not to say there still isn't good stuff its just not what it was. This seems to be a theme among many areas as well not just there, only a few places have stayed consistent or increased.

I applied for a lifty job there this past fall to pick up some nights during the week when I'd be there anyway and mentioned I'd be down to rake lips and shape features too but got back a form letter inviting me to a job fair during my actual job hours ?

Rip

This should be added to the regional threads. RIP Nashoba and semi-rip Wachusetts because their parks look good but not as good as they were on Look Mom. McIntyre is sick but def check out Pats Peak. Their park is firing this year, and we get people from Boston by the bus load.

Bradford has pretty much been open all year right?

I mean it has to be the hill I can see from where I walk my dog to all the way down in Salem MA since nothing else would have that snow naturally. Just far enough that I won't go alone but should check out with my GF.

I like Blue Hills for local spots always sad to drive down 128 in the winter these days and see no white.

Yeah they've been open but I think they only have 2/3 lifts spinning. They neglect their park big time so its usually the last thing to open.

It's worth one week night trip fs if they have everything open. But then again I'm clinging to my childhood nostalgia so idk lol
