NASA photoshopping mars curiosity maps?

Haha I actually don't doubt they did photoshop some things on mars, but I just can't bring myself to believe they would copy and paste it that obviously. I feel like it would almost have been easier to make completely new images... But that being said

I would also like to ski on the moon. I feel like everything on the moon would become aerials. EVERYTHING.

Yeah, if you look at it, its a render of a good chunk of the planet. Zooming ALL THE FUCKING WAY IN, there will obviously not be something that can gather that much data of such a large area with such detail everywhere. The map is for mostly large scale reference, not very small detail.
