Nano Trouble!

Ok so i just got a ipod nano ( old 2GB) and the battery was almost dead so i plug it in to my computer to charge and the screen says " Do not eject" and it keeps saying this over and over. Is there something wrong with it and if there is how do i fix it?

How long have you left it in? That means its either charging or updating as far as I know. Stick it in for 20-30 minutes and come back and check on it

try that menu and center button thing
hold them down at the same time for like 6 seconds and it should reboot

if you eject it, it isn't the end of the world. your iPod will live on.

and i did the Menu/ Middle button method but it still has the message :S

throw it away, buy a decent mp3 player

that happened to mine too, i left it for the weekend came back and just held down the menu button and it worked i charged it a bit before though
