I have an opportunity to move to myrtle beach, sc and work for a little while and then finish school. I know alot about customer service being a waiter, so the job opportunities in that field would be endless for me. A friend of mine, who's roomate would be heading down with us, has a father who is branching a contruction company down there and managing it, so I could help them out too. I've never been but have heard it is really nice, what did you think of the area..thanks!

Myrtle beach is fuckin ill!! strip clubs are amazing, great golf, beautiful beaches/girls. The only thing that sucks is there is no snow, other than that the place is unreal.

our vacation spot since i was little. my parents just built their retirement home down there too so i spend a fair amount of time there. where would you be living if you took the job?

its real fun but you'll start to hate the tourists after awhile. other than that i mean a new huge crop of hot bitches each week, great restaurants, great golf if you know where to play, and for being a vacation hot spot its relatively cheap living expenses. your rent might cost a decent buck but food and everything is pretty reasonably priced. and idk how concerned you are with the tree situation but kb is relatively easy to find by just asking random people at a couple strategic places.

Every year since i'm 6 (im now 17) i go to Myrtle beach and its pretty nice, but i wouldnt stay there longer because i hate when its constantly hot, but w/e its still a nice place

tourist beach

typical footwater surf with rare sandbars and constant shorebreakers

built up and constantly filled with suburban vacationers

definitely take a trip to Cape Hatteras

the surf there is real nice

hit up the old lighthouse at lowtide

and if you are lucky enough to have eastery or north easterly winds

surf should be going OFF

for a long time i have been going to the beach about 50 miles south of Myrtle...although i have never been to myrtle, the whole "grand strand" area is awesome

sick place to go for spring break but i would never wanna live there. Its strip malls and the beach and thats all there is.

North Carolina beaches are for chilling/surfing and SC beaches are for partying/everything illegal in north carolina because NC has a shit load of stupid laws while south carolina allows everything fun.

It would be sick to work there. If you're into golf try and work part time at a course or something to play cheaper because it's expensive as hell but super nice. The beaches are pretty sweet too, but tons of tourists. You'll see an Eagles or Waves on every corner, regardless of the fact that they look the same and carry the same merchandise.

man you would hate living there. like Alex said a ton of white trash. If you move anywhere in that region defintley live on the outer banks = better surf, MUCH less commercialized, and a ton prettier.

If you go to the beach look for sharks teeth. Tons of fossilized little black ones. By far my favorite thing to do at the beach by my house and I know myrtle has a ton.

no fuck it's white trash! it's South Carolina!

Don't get me wrong though, Myrtle Beach is still a really fun place to party in the summer.

fuck it I'll give it a try. Like I said I'm from Ny and many of you know how we roll... I hate motherfuckers from the south with the accents and the uneducated nonsense, but I bet I'd take all their girls and I heard myrtle beach isn't really too filled with those redneck cock suckers. More less, I wanna run show to take over this f'ing place. Thanks for the feedback

what a fucking yankee, come down to our part of the country expecting to fucking run the show right when you get there. you better watch the fuck you say down here or else your face is going to be punched in. yank fuck you

Wow c.man shut the fuck up. quit acting like your better than him cuz your a "native". I have to deal with shits like this every day and gets old and annoying real fast.

I like northern people, I live in charlotte so half my friends are from ohio, penn, and ny but the only thing I don't like is how loud they talk on their phones. Aside from that there is no difference between yankees and dixies.

Oh and most of us think we should have won the war. lol
