My Wedding Proposal Movie Trailer

So I made a movie trailer to propose to my longterm girlfriend.

"I made a movie trailer to propose to my girlfriend. The day before Kim was planning on going to the movies with her friend, she dropped me off at the airport, thinking I was going to fly back to LA - Nope. My Dad picked me up and brought me back home!

So Kim and her friend head over to GQT Canton 6 Cinema to see Rio 2. In the during the trailer sequence, my trailer pops up - unfortunately the camera I had set up for Kim's reaction didn't work!! She got all excited when she noticed Karishma Ahluwalia and Timothy Ryan Cole, thinking they scored a role in a movie! However she didn't notice her own Dad picking up the phone. As for my Black/Green Ford Focus ST - she thought some movie bought footage off me. This was perfect because she was going to be in for even a bigger surprise!

When the video popped up of the cinema, Kim thought it was for a "silence your cell phones" or something like. Next thing you know, I come popping out! Oh and yes, Kim did just grab the ring out of my hand!

This was shot with a 4K Blackmagic Production Camera and a Canon 5D MK3 with Magic Lantern's RAW mode."

Here ya go.

Congrats on the proposal!

totalled ripped off that idea from someone else

Because taking your girl out to some fancy restaurant and popping the question isnt "ripped off of" billions of other people? At least he did something cool and creative

Is there really such thing as a original idea anymore?

That was exactly what I was thinking. I wanted to do something that was out of the ordinary.

Taking someone's idea and making it your own is different, you literally ripped this person off

I'm not going to argue with you.

A. I did't have myself in the trailer. I wanted it to have hits of me, but not a dead give away.

B. He did it with a romantic spin, I did mine with an action spin.

C. He walked into the theatre on camera, I walked into the theatre POV.

Whoa! Congratulations man! I thought it was really cool.

How long have you two been together? When's the wedding?
