My Video For Film Fest, Help!

yo so i put this up in media arts and it hasn't gotten any attention at all. this video is due later today to be shown at my collage's film fest this weekend and it still needs some work pretty badly. im content with each edit but my transitions and the intro are obviously not very smooth. if I could get any ideas for how to make it flow and introduce the sports from ns that would be sick. enjoy

 
word thanks man. also i realize its not really professional quality editing anyway but they wanted to have a high school kids video in there instead of just collage and pro level film students for contrast i guess, so thats that. also im thinking about moving the tramp edit to the last video because thats my favorite at the moment, thoughts on that?
 
cool man, i agree with previous comment of not switching the music, unless you can fade it in and out, also try to do something sick with the opening and my the text just open differently or something
 
Respect for the Rebelution.... I know it cusses there, but try and find an edited version of the song possibly. I would go with that song though, good meaning and chill vibe. Heart like a lion is another possibility.
 
looks very good. i'm going to have to go with everyone else here and say that your soundtrack needs to be changed. if it was a 5 minute or longer edit, it would be ok to change the song, but i think you can find a good 3 minute long song to play for the entire video.

for the intro, i would change it from how it starts off with the titles, then shows the mountain biking. you could show a clip of mountain biking, then cut to black with a title, then fade in another clip of mountain biking or tramp or sumthin. just keep doing that until you're done with the titles. also put a title before each section(summer, fall, etc.) for better transition

as for the order of the clips, if you like the tramp one best i would end it on that, leaves a good impression on audience
 
alright so im going to have a finished project up on vimeo tomorrow, should be good. i changed the tramp to the end and put the skiing in the middle because its my least favorite. one thing i dont want to mess with now is the number of songs because each of the mini edits are already edited to the song (take the biking for example, each berm and landing at the beginning match the song).

the transitions i made a title over a clip of hiking back up for skiing and biking, ad just standing on the tramp for that. only thing now is that there is silence for each of the introductions and title so im going to need to figure out what to do there. definitely not another song haha but maybe a voice over if i dont decide to leave it. thanks for the help guys.
