My two lens-whacking "edits"

Hey i do spray paint art too! lots of fun. pretty good job man, a bit shaky but i know thats hard to avoid when you're holding the lens haha
 
good job on the painting one, but you honestly could have done that without the lens whacking. I thought it was distracting
 
the paint one was amazing, isnt lens whacking when you hold the lens off the body but near it to give you lens flares and stuff?
 
seems way too sketchy to be lens whacking around spray paint for me. but a neat vid nonetheless and i agree with above...could have been done without the technique on that one.

and for errone...lens whacking is where the lens is detached from the camera...yes exposing the sensor...and held ever so slightly from it (a pinky widths distance or less) and then moved around to bring various portions of the image in focus and out of focus, creating a dreamy sorta look and feel usually
 
Also known as 'free lensing' in the photography world. Don't quote me on this, but I think lens-whacking is what videographers call free lensing.
