Hey

I sat down and watched some ski show that was on tv. It was about ski resorts and stuff, forget the name. Anyway it reminded me of the toy that my dad bought and we fixed up. It's called a Snow Trac. We bought it off of the local ski mountain, Marble Mountain, for $700.59, and have had offers up to $7000. This winter i'm going to use it more and take friends all over to go skiing. It can carry 6 including the drive comfortably 7 if you need to get the extra person. It has heat and you can put all of the gear on the outside of the machine. Take a look. (more pics to come)

It would be cool if the local hill didn't suck balls so I could learn to hit bigger jumps and get a sponser. Then I would paint that think in the sponser colors and get soemone in to put a huge logo on it.

if your really hardcore you can just smoke out of your hands. make a loose fist but keep your fingers together and pack the entire empty space in the middle with herb. then open up your pinky finger enough so that the herb doesnt fall out but you can light it. then just breath in from the top hole and ull get mad respect - eastar5
 
Was waiting for someone to say that, it is a VW, it has VW engine in it. It was made in Sweeden and shipped to Newfoundland for a electrical company. Then the local hill bought it to haul the snow machines up the hill, but it wasn't big enough, so they used to to haul hoses and shit until the eventually just stopped using it. Me and my Dad bought it, put in new spark plugs and turned it over, worked first try. It was sitting outside for 5 years. So it was easy to get going again. We had to replace some tires the treds run and some other things. Another cool thing is it's wheel driven, like a steering wheel, not two levers like excavators. And it's a 1978 or 79, i forget.

As for putting a plow on it I dunno. I've thought of it but need to think of a way to rig it up. The thing is really light, maybe a ton. Theres a two ton winch on the front that hauls it up over any hill no problem.

man thats soooo sick, and living in newfoundland there willl be no shortage of places to take it, there is actually a lot of really really nice backcountry style stuff up there, i was up there last summer and saw many places that would have been absouloutly perfect if you had a toy like that

 
 
the motor is an air cooled VW an its for a MR set up so to have it in the front with 4wd is pretty nutz no clue what the trans is, ccould be VW with some custom drive shafts and rear end...........

 
Well it's a 4 or 5 speed standard, and it's only two wheel drive, front drive.

Yah, it still has a lot of power too. Last winter we had a pretty big storm and it dropped like 3 feet of pow ontop of the other 2 feet we had, so 4-5 feet of pow all over. I woke up and wanted to go see if my booter on the farm fields was still visiable and jumped in the Snow Trac and took off. I thought I would get it stuck before I left the driveway but it went pretty good. The pow was flowing over the hood and I was easy going crusin at a cool 15 mph through it all.
