My Threads Button.

Im sure this idea has been thrown out there already but I was recently in a thread that has tones of "my threadss" posts in it and thought i should dish out the idea.

So instead of having to spam a thread to get it into your my threads i think it would be a good idea to have a button somewhere in the threads that could transfer it to your "my threads" section of your account instead of making the pointless post. Just an idea, any thoughts?
 
it wouldnt really be your thread than. just a thread youre watching. so maybe a watch thread button?
 
its the same thing. posting "my threads" in a thread makes it show up under your My Threads section next time someone posts in it. However it goes away again once you click it to check on the posts. A My Threads button would be sweet, and you could keep it checked until it died or whatever and then un-check it or "delete thread watch" like you can do now.
 
I'd say above it. My muscle memory would bring me right to the "thread watch" button instead. I still always click forums and go to Site Discussion because it's where NSG used to be.

You know you've spent too much time on this site whennn......

 
Bump because I was going to make the same thread. I really think we need one of these. Funny/event/hype threads are just getting ridiculously polluted with "threads", "I'll look at it after school/work", "my threads lol", etc.

 
this is a good idea. just make 'my threads' like a favorites or bookmarks type of deal where you choose to add certain threads to your list
 
The only problem that I can see is that legit threads might die faster without the bumping of NS'ers saying my threads. Those posts may keep threads healhier... idk
