My thoughts on the "Skier pushes Snowboarder off of Lift" Incident

When I read this news story, I thought: Man, that skier guy is SUCH an asshole. The conversation that led up to the pushing of the snowboarder seemed comical. What guy in his right mind, especially a chyll skier, would resort to such an extreme form of violence? Then I realized... This was not some rogue skier, but rather a snowboarder in disguise. The Snowboarder vs Skier beef has evolved. It's no longer a physical battle for the mountain, but rather a battle of public opinion. What better way to shift the public's opinion on skiers than to FRAME US. Think about it. The Snowboarder wasn't even very mad about the whole incident. Wouldn' t you be fucking pissed if some person almost killed you? I know I would be. No retribution for the skier? More like the Snowboarder that fell KNEW EVERYTHING and didn't want his fellow single planker to face serious time.

Think about it people.
 
its obviously a marketing ploy for skiing and snowboarding, guys. this new "Boarders vs. skiers" johnny tsunami shit will make gear fly off the shelves.
 
i thought the boarder might have instigated the fight. got pushed off then waited all day to say anything as he was trying to come up with a story. guy was probably talkin shit and deserved the shove.
