My "this is my camp" contest entry

hey guys, so i know i ranted yesterday about it, and how flawed it is, but i wanted to show you guys mine, verses the one yesterday. my reason.

I am from flatland illinois, paying my way through film school in michigan. Haven't had much exposure to snow and this will be my second season/year filming. I just want an opportunity. that is all.

I know i've gotten relatively good feedback before, so hopefully you enjoy it.

lastly, i just really hope they pick on talent, not on views. Thanks
 
Good filming, had the feel of being rusty in parts but overall was good. The colours tho I found were really dull and seemed almost underexposed. What kind of camera do you have?
 
as a said previously nothing was shot by me, therefore no idea what camera they were using,

also i did not color correct so the dull shots are from them. Didn't exactly think it was necessary to color correct. some were so drastically different than others
 
liked the edit, apart from the dull colours. But what I don't get is how you didn't film any of it, and yet its your entry?
 
its all part of this "contest" coc is holding

we take their stock videos from this summer and edit them ourselves. not the typical contest to have a filming intern next summer
 
i liked it. Not to be cliche with the other responses but maybe just increase the entire video's brightness? Thats the only thing that stood out to me as an average viewer. When you watch camp videos like COC's and Windells they always look so sunny and fun, this one looked kind of dull and there was only one shot that looked like it was taken on a blue bird day. The music was good and it flowed pretty well. I like how you incorporated other things than just skiing too, to give a look at the camp experience.
