My summer is ruined

So, long story short, i helped my friend throw a party at his house, because he realized he wouldn't be there for the first 45 minuets and had already invited everyone, he gave me the key to open the place up. lets just say there was soon 60 people in his basement.

And then the cops busted it, everyone ran, including me, and he showed up 5 mins later and told them what happened, i had to go back and i got a court date for hosting an underage drinking party.

Because of the party, i have now become friends with a lot more people, especially the ones who attend them on a regular basis, and they now let me know when other parties are coming up, and i hadn't been to a party before the one i threw.

But i went to court the other night and they gave me a ACD for 6 months, which means that i cant get in trouble with cops for 6 months, and if i do, then i will be brought up on the charge from the party + the new one. If i dont, then its thrown away, and im good.

The problem is, im a junior in HS now, and the ACD will end in august. so i will not be able to do anything all summer that i had done previous summers (cliff and bridge jumping, partying, or even hangin around at night doin shit).

so basicly my summer is gonna suck, because i will have no social life, never go to the parties taht i now get invited to, and i will have to give up bridge jumping and cliff jumping. what do you suggest i do NS?

Sparknotes: have to stay out of trouble completely all summer, which involves giving up my newly acquired social life and bridge and cliff jumping, which occupied a ton of my time last summer. what should i do?
 
Welp, you win some, you lose some. Better luck next year, guy. Your friend sounds like a dick for letting you take the fall.
 
grow up? pick up a sport or get better at one. After high school you wont know/see these bitches again assuming you dont become a townie
 
scumming is gross anyway... go to victor/martensia, some good and legal cliff jumping there. its really not THAT hard to have fun legally
 
That blows man. Try find areas to going hiking, or even cliffs with lakes in the woods if the area you live in has stuff like that. If not you can always go out with friends, just not doing illegal shit. Never been in the position so I wouldn't know what to really do. But maybe find a new sport or something or get a job over the summer, that will keep you entertained. Good luck man!
 
yea i have been to meritensia, but its only like 5 feet deep, and the ropeswings down the road from there are sweet, but i have to bike 20 miles to get there, so that gets old pretty quick, im gonna search for new spots
 
how about this, just don't host anymore parties. if you go to a party and the cops come, just run away. do the cops come to every party? no. when they do come, just don't be a fuck and hide under the bed
 
idk about where you live, but its pretty easy to have fun without getting in trouble with cops.

you cant possibly be so underground/hoodrat that you have to restrict anything worthwhile in your life because you will get busted for it.
 
except i have, i have had 3-4 police encounters for bridge jumping just last summer, and have gotten off with a unofficial warning, but the town i usually do it in has a small police dept. so they know me now and i wont get off easy next time, and i hadnt been to any other big parties before
 
so have smaller parties with your closer group of friends that aren't open houses and won't get busted, or just go to parties and not get caught? If that's not an option for you just be a DD all summer and so many rides will be owed to you that you'll never have to drive to a party senior year
 
You seriously get in some sort of legal trouble for underage drinking and/or hosting party where you live? Holy shit, that's pathetic.
 
why does that ruin your summer? what are you doing that can get you into trouble with cops that easily? they get mad when you jump off bridges?

I have had some pretty illegal fun and never been in trouble with cops.

I have only ever had 1 run in with cops and they were campus police because my friends and I were having some fun with a car and skis in a parking lot and they thought it was pretty funny and let us off.

 
too bad you couldnt make it to my party senior year. fairport kids are still talkin about it...
 
im never planning to host a party again, and because of this whole thing i wont be allowed to take the car out, unless im going to something my parents are making me go to or somthin. and i wouldnt be able to drive past 9 with my license anyway.

and btw, i didnt even drink at the party, or organize it, i just opened up the house with the key i was given. fuck the police, seriously
 
Not getting in trouble by the cops isn't difficult. But it's alright to play it safe.
 
go to legal and/or out of town spots....

get your license too... sounds like you don't have yours yet. it makes a world of difference.
 
Did anybody else do a lot of illegal prepubescent shit in high school and not get caught for it? I never had problems with the police once. Just don't drink in public, stay away from drugs and drive legally. This equates to =you win.
 
I got fucked over in the start of last summer and couldnt get in trouble again either. Lets just say last summer was one of the best summers Ive had to date, dont get caught

 
First of all, that friend sounds like a dick to me. Second of all, its not that hard to have fun during the summer without partying. I never ever party's, and I have some absolutely awesome summers. Go out and find something else to entertain you
 
I got a minor consumption charge on new years eve, so I got my license taken for 90 days, 16 hours of community service, and alcohol abuse classes to attend. I feel your pain. It's my senior year and I can't drive up to go skiing or to prom or for my 18th birthday. shitty. And I only blew a .053 and the legal limit to drive is .08 so I wasn't even drunk /rage

just hang out with friends or take summer courses online so you get out of classes your senior year or possibly in college. sorry to hear that though.
 
i have heard from multiple sources that even if you didnt drink, and can even prove that, you can still be charged with some shit that has to do with just being where alcohol was served to underage kids. and even if they dont charge you, they will make your parents pick you up, and if that happened i would be fucked with them again
 
I never got caught but we'd drink in public drive illegally and did lots of drugs. Maybe the cops in my area suck at their job, I don't know. But I never really had any trouble personally with them.
 
your friend is a twat for ratting you out, if he didnt say anything neither of you would be in trouble i bet, get new friends that arent idiots
 
Yup. Acod is the easiest shit ever. Just be good and stay under the radar. You can still party/drink just dont be dumb
 
Why go to a party if you are not drinking? Go drink and party and be a little cautious if the party is getting big. I really have never run into issue at parties and I have been there when the police show up.
 
if you're underage, you have until .02 to get in trouble. .08 if you're "of age." if you go to a party and aren't drinking, they'll call your parents to pick you up most likely. on a few occasions I just got in my car and drove home though.
 
How old are you? You seriously can't go to a party and have fun without drinking? There is something seriously wrong with you
 
you blew it at coming back to the party, if they dont catch you in the action they cant charge you, unless you come back and say you did it...
 
why not? just don't get caught. sounds like you never got caught doing it previous summers, so keep that up.
 
You can party just don't be stupid and get caught. 95% of the people on the site partied in high school and have no criminal record.
