Whats up NS!
Last thursday I had a car full of friends in my Subaru wrx, we were going hiking for the day.
We were on the freeway for about 30 minutes, just talking and laughing. (I am an excellent driver btw, Im always safe and pay full attention while driving)
We were going 60 mph, in the lane right next to the carpool lane when suddenly an Asian lady talking on her phone, was next to us on the right. She then changed lanes RIGHT into me and ended up hitting my front right fender. When she was just about to hit me I quickly swerved to the left to try and avoid her, but the hit from her was enough to make me fish tale and lose control of my car.
We ended up sliding sideways off the road into an exit sign. Hitting the sign hard enough to make us roll only 90 degrees. In a way we got lucky to hit that sign, because we could have easily slid into oncoming traffic. My car was completely totaled, and by the looks of it, you might think that the driver died, I suffered a gnar concussion and got a few cuts on both legs, my left quad took a hard beating from where the sign hit my car, I was lucky to not break any bones. As for everyone else my friend behind me got knocked hard enough to pass out and got a concussion also. Everyone else had only a few scratches. We all were lucky to walk away from the accident.
And for the lady who hit me.... She just drove off.
That car was my most prized possession, I saved up for years and finally bought it when I was 18. I have only had it for a year, but god damn I had great memories in that car. I also had just finished modifying it, and it looked damn sexy. Bottom line is that it saved everyones life, and I couldent be more grateful for it. That car was a damn BEAST and i will sure miss it.
