My skis are not surfaces...

I was about to buy the new nomads when I get a notification.

the new strictly x icelantic nomad and that they were only making 25 pairs.

i instantly enter my information and purchased a pair.

after emptying my bank account.

I mounted then with raw pivots and they were beautiful.

take them out for the first time and they felt incredible.

paying for the redesign was worth it.

So far this season I have been asked if my skis were surfaces 9 times.

sure they resemble surfaces but they are not that similar.

one said that my skis were

”just copy’s of jet skis”

nothing against surfaces but my and my friends experience Surfaces has been negative.

if you don’t know what skis someone has just ask.

So is a copy of jet ski's where you pay Never Summer to build 50 pairs of an old ski so you can pretend you have sponsors, then sell a few to a bunch of marks to recoup your cost?

i don't know when people are finally going to realize that same factory =/= same ski

ski companies commission factories to use designs they came up with, or at least unique combinations of molds + shapes that the factory can already do

same factory barely means shit

That’s what I’m saying. Factories have been building skis for multiple companies for years

Facts. Imagine thinking Liberty, DPS and Vishnu were all the same because they were built at GP87

And kept trying to give me pointers on tricks he had never done before.

which i am all good with pointers but not when there just “you just gotta do it”

keys with the paint. I don't see the similarity. I think people think the V is an upside down A but I don't see it.
 
Use the Ankilla method. I believe it will change your life. They don’t know u have a ski more limited than jets. Why should you care what they think.

The idea of someone telling you about YOUR gear is fucking crazy to me. Like unless you’re asking a question, or in a pro shop, where do people get off

Someone told me “just land on your feet” when I asked how to 2 onto a steep down tube. Literally worst fucking advice I’ve ever gotten ?
