my ski music problem.

i like to ski with music, like lots of people. sometimes its nice to just drown everything out and think about skiing. i am on a freestyle team, so i am talked to a lot my coaches, meaning i can only turn my music on when i am by myself if i want to hear what they are saying. i would get tune ups for my bl, but i dont like earpads for some reason or other. right now, i wear a cheap pair of headphones over my hat, with both under my bl. i am wondering if i could wire in a mute switch to the headphones, cheaply, and if so how to do it, or if that isnt gonna work, i would liek to know how the red ordinance audio hats are, because taht is my second choice. i know it was long, but thanks for reading it
