My ski binding is TICKING!!! WTF!

My co-worker noticed something in the room was making a ticking sound, turns out it was my binding. Video below -- you might need to turn it up to really hear it.

I did some googling and did not find anything. Anyone know why this is happening??

Thank you!

It's a bomb!

I'd take them to a shop to look at before skiing them again. There could be something wrong with the springs - that's the only thing in there that I can think of that would cause ticking.

In the shop as we speak. Thanks dude.

Wonder if/what the issue is though...

Yeah make sure you post what they said the issue was, super curious to see what was causing that.

How long did it stay ticking for, or was it still ticking when you took it to the shop?

Not sure how long it was ticking for. I do know that it wasn't still ticking when I took it to the shop.

The repair shop employee told me it looked good from a visual standpoint. I think might have done a couple release tests with the boot in it but not sure.

He told me to go ski them and come back if I had a problem. I skied them and they seemed fine.

Note: I work at the resort, so I'm assuming the repair shop employee knows it's pretty easy for me to take them in whenever (which it is.)
