My set up idea for the summer...

so i have a barn in my backard and I am going to start at the apex of it for speed, then have a 10' rail aprox. at the end so you come off the rail landing on a drop-in/landing about three feet lower which will give you speed for another rail. Has anyone else done this?

no but that sounds like such a sick idea, my only concern would be having enough speed for the second rail, but that would be so much fun

i definatly will have enough speed for the second one... i jumped of the barn and landed on something like that this winter and was machin... almost to fast

i tried doing that exact same thing during the winter. it didn't really work out great, but i have a flat yard and a 6' high drop in. thre reason it didn't work was i more because i set it up bad, it probably would have worked if i set it up better. my advice to you would be to really plan everything out and make it as legit as possible, like really plan it out and use good shit when building it. if your yard is sloped you should be all set on speed,(you might have mentioned that in the title can't remeber) otherwise, just make the transition from one rail to the next real smooth, would recommend making the first rail a down rail and the second pretty low to the ground and remember to follow the 11 tips for keeping speed.

sparknotes: if your drop in is 10' high you should be good. just make it legit and work for maximum speed.

Ya I did it in the winter minus the rail on the roof and had tons of speed.... My only concern is what happens when u catch an edge on the rail right before the 7' drop? Could end up ugly but I guess we will see. I think I am going to start working on it in like 2-3 weeks because school will be out then and I will be back from Jackson hole(should definatly gone there in the winter over summer)
