And the reason I didn't put it in Media & Arts is because a lot of my photography is from around the New England area (most recently, Burlington), so I thought more people would be interested in it here. Tell me what you think.

super legit dude. I have seen a ton of lake Champlain shots from battery park and that is by far one of my favorites.

Canon XS, with an 18-55mm, 24-85mm, 75-300mm, 17-85mm, and an 18-200mm (last two belong to a friend, but I use them a lot.)

pretty sick. i never thought i would see anything that made the university health center look appealing but your shot definitely did.

It stands for High Dynamic Range. It's where you take multiple shots of the same thing with different exposures, and then put them together, to compensate for different light levels in the scene. More advanced explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging
