My own house

Ok so I have a very complicated family situation but basically my family will be moving to Amsterdam next year while I stay in California in order to finish my senior year of high school. For this reason my family will be renting out a house for me to stay at. Because they don't trust an 18 year old living by himself for an entire year without any adult supervision my parents are looking for a responsible adult to live with me. This is why I am looking to you newschoolers for help with my situation. I would obviously prefer to have a very chill adult to live with me so I can have parties and make the best out of my senior year. So if you any of you know an adult who appears to be responsible that lives in the bay area and is looking for a place to stay for the next year or if you have any good ideas to help me out please feel free to let me know

As always -k for trolls and +k for helpful comments or ideas

Because I am already applying to schools and nobody transfers during their senior year. That would be very complicated and difficult to do. It would be much easier to just finish high school in the states considering I only have one year left and am practically already into college

Your parents are probably picking someone there's basically no chance you'll get to pick someone yourself. The best bet you have is to be-friend whoever the person is and prove to them youre super responsible, then after thats done start throwing parties and shit and have a sick year and go to a good school.

The Netherlands is beautiful. Seriously i hate the whole smoking culture that gets associated with it as its very much more than that.

You're 18 and can't live on your own? Why not? Aren't you legally an adult at 18 in the US?

Yeah. Like boo hoo my parents moved to amsterdam. I wish i were you dude. Go there and get on the hat program

It's not my choice. I would prefer to go to amssterdam with them but they want to me stay here so I can continue with the school I'm at now and get into a good college which most likely would not happen if I moved due to all the complications it would cause. Plus I am trying to get recruited which for sure wouldn't happen if I moved to Amsterdam because their sports programs are pretty bad. Like I said its a complicated family situation that is much too long to explain so stop making assumptions about stuff you don't know about

I am not exactly sure how to spell it but my family's apartment is on errengraught street on the 3rd canal and is very close the queens palace so it is located in the center of the city

I say you get one of the Mods to stay with you. They have a shit town of experience dealing with ignorant shitters.

Except for that Gato, he goes balls deep no lube.

Herengracht is what you mean I think. Expensive street, annoying neighborhood do, way to many tourists and traffic because it's so fucking centre.

And I hope they are left wing socialist elite for your sake.

Why did they pick an apartment there? It's interesting from the perspective of someone who has been living in Amsterdam for quite some time.

Thinking of moving over to the beautifull pays bas after high school? Anyway If youre in holland and want to experience a good party hit me up!

And live the good life.

I guess. My parents let me move to an apartment in a city 400km away for school when I was 16. Thinking about it, it wasn't the smartest thing ever. Though, we didn't really have a choice.
