My only good friends are the ones who ski

I just can't relate to the others in the same way. Skiing connects us with nature and ourselves in a way that not really much else does. I could elaborate but I'm pretty upset right now and I decided to think a little bit and this is all I could come up with.

Agreed? Or am I just a socially inept fucker?

All of my friends ski except for the ones that I work with, there kinda "different". I could not imagine life without skiing. It just would not be the same.

I have 2 friend the ones at school and the ones at mount snow I like them both but the skiing one's I don't get to see as much.

as lame as womens lacrosse is, could you imagine what it would be like to date one of them tricks?

yea I can definitely relate.

but I think it's more the way that non-skiers see you as a weirdo who only thinks about skiing.

I mean, if someone would be able to read my thoughts, he/she would for sure believe that I'm crazy.. unless he/she was a skier

Dude, I totally relate except none of my friends ski (this excludes when they go on their ski trips to vail and brek but all they do is sit in their hotels.) I have mucky muck rich friends lol.

people that dont make skiing/boarding a huge part of their life dont understand why i think and talk about it all the time so ya, skier friends are good

since i have started skiing park this year i have met so many people compared to ski some pow with a friend or to your just constantly meeting new people and i consider some of them really close friends now

well usually most people's really good friends are the ones the spend the most time with and share the same passions for. so it would make sense that your only good friends are skiers.

haha I've met a lot more chill people hiking the bc than hitting the park, but there are definitely guys that are pretty cool in both areas for sure.

My best friends at school are a Bermudian, a Mexican, and a hippie who uses his own shit as fertilizer for his garden...no hate at all, they ridiculously awesome dudes, but they aren't super into skiing. At least they understand my passion and are as into music as I am so we share something. As well as ganja. We enjoy ganja.

I'm just thinking that most other people at my school in my grade love to party and get wasted on weekends, when I enjoy makin' some McConkey turns instead. ya dig? Kinda weird going back to school where so many people are opposite-minded.

id say about 60% of my friends ski or snowboard a quite a bit, my 3 best friends i go up with almost every weekend

In CO, everyone but my best friend loves snow in some way shape or form. Back in PA? Not so much...Just a few here and there.

But we all love ganja. And we all love to drink

I have three levels of friends

1) I can trust with my life -------------100% ski/board friends

2)could trust with my sister----------80%ski/board 20% non

3)Can trust with my possessions---50% 50%

Ha! Well considering almost none of my friends freestyle ski I guess I'm pretty sol. I have a decent amount that ski but not many that are as into it as me.

Also I'd just like to throw in that Lacrosse is fuckin sick. That and skiing are my two favorite sports. No more hating on it.

....but you can hate on womens lax as much as you want. thats hardly even a sport

My best friends are the ones who ski. minus a few people here and there. Skiing just brings people together and you instantly have a common love. no homo

same here, and i cant reall tell if its an accident or it just naturally happened that way because we are all related through skiing. Idk its wierd though, i mean i have other frands outside of skiing but i dont really know what to talk about with them.

There are lots of people in my life who I care deeply about, and that love me in return. Skiing isn't necessary to get that aspect.

But anyone who has gone skiing with me knows me at my happiest, most joyous state. Be it shredding park laps or skinning for pow, there is nothing that makes me happier, and the people that ski or ski with me know a little more about that side.

I have friends that ski and friends that don't but when ever where all chillin in a group at a party or something it's always the kids who ski and board a lot.

all my friends snowboard, and they definitely don't go nearly as much as me therefore I find myself going to the mt solo alot.
The plus side is I meet other skiers who I probably wouldn't normally meet if I was with my snowboard buddies.
