Three years ago I was shit at skiing and had no friends. I found Newschoolers and thought this is where I can find some homies and learn how to shred and help other homies shred too

three years later I still suck and have no friends except now I suck and have no friends while wearing expensive limited edition clothing and “core” skis.

Couldn’t have put it better myself. I’m shit at skiing and have no friends, but i also have a NS account and cool gear, so I guess it cancels out right? It’s like pemdas or something?

I joined 2 years ago and thought I was a pretty good skier but after watching all these videos of people doing crazy tricks I never felt so lame in my life

I actually remember the exact moment I made an NS account. Even where I was sitting and the time of day.

I love this site out of principle. It helped me in countless ways. I also hate this site because it's a bad representation of dope shit going on in skiing. They hype up questionable people and overlook some insane riders. I don't agree with the vast majority of decisions that are made. I would say to do it differently but NS has their ways and they are staying true to them for the most part. It's respectable even if it's disagreeable.

Either way, I've been a member for close to a decade now, so I guess they are doing something right
