My next ski opinions!!

Hey NS! I'm in the market for some new skis. I'm thinking I might be able to gather some opinions from you guys.

I'm currently choosing between the 4frnr YLE or the Armada Norwalk.

I'm looking for an out west ski that is a little wider than my park/all mountain skis. I would like it to handle soft snow well but also be able to rip groomers.

I've heard the YLE's be described as "a ski for park riders that are new to pow." Sounds like it might be what I'm looking for, but I've also read great things about the Norwalks.

Any opinions that you guys might have?

Thanks!

Do you plan on skiing switch at all? If so, don't get the norwalks. They are directional and have a big shovel out front and won't work all that great if you plan on being switch a lot.

Also look into the opus, its another super playful pow ski that's also pretty versatile

Very very different skis.

Also if you're looking for something that can also ski groomers and can handle soft snow, I'm guessing you're looking for an all mountain ski. If so look more in the 110 underfoot range.

Then you need to decide if you want it to be bidirectional/directional, stiff/soft, and what kind of profile you want.
