i play guitar a little bit and ive been trying to write music for a while. my brother just got his new mac and i played with garage band. heres my first song(if i can figure out how to upload it) tell me what you guys think. some parts are off but its good for a first draft.

holy shit that was a really good first draft

you can write good guitar, just work on the singing a little bit. was this all a one take singing and playing at the same time or did you do the vocals seperate?
 
i did them separate. i found it harder to do separate but when mixing it i needed to control both levels so i couldnt have it on one track.
