My New Skis, To Much Camber?

Ok so i bought some new Arv's and their not mounted and their camber in the middle of the ski is about 1 in and 1/8 of an in of camber, is that like to much? And should i do something about that is that is to big, or should i keep it for more pop?
 
Post a pic. It is possible you got a pair with defective camber, and if so you shouldn't use them, they will ski erratically. I bought a pair of Jp Juliens that had mega camber (when they should have basically none). Armada was happy to replace them.
 
Skis, especially twin tips, will break in really fast, and the camber will kind of break out, and flatten. How long are they? post a picture? They could be messed up from the factory.
 
So 14-15mm of camber on each ski? That's a TON of camber, they'll probably feel kind of hooky and won't float quite as well. I know I would never want that much in any of my skis.

If i sent them in wouldnt i get next years ARV's because i got 1 of the 2 last pairs in the factory, 1" and 1/8" of camber
 
not to be a party pooper or anything but that looks like normal camber to me. lots of kids arent used to seeing that much because your average park ski doesnt have much unless it is aimed at tons of pop and such, but that looks like the same camber my race skis have. yea its a lot, but (a) it wont hurt anything (b) you'll have tons of pop (c) it will break in and wear down ater a while. unless armada agrees with you that its some sort of defect, that just looks like a new pair of skis to me.
 
Unless they are bents, ep pros or any other reverse camber ski, i would not care at all about how much camber was on them.
 
^ I don't see why this is that stupid, a gear related issue in gear talk? This kid is just trying to get his monies worth, no harm in that.

BTW dude, those look defective, exactly like mine did. You should place them base down on a flat surface and check the camber that way (post pics if you want). This way, you can tell if it is just one, or both skis that are defective. Then Call Armada and ask for Tyson Hall. Tell him what is going on, and he should hook you up.
 
hmm. that does look a lil odd i am not going to lie.

however i really dont think that this is any reason to send them back....

That is perfectly normal. my foils have exactly an inch or camber from edge to edge while standing together like on your picture. and that's after a full season on them. which means they probably had about 1 and 1/8 inch or morebefore they were skied. camber is totally natural and your skis look fine in your picture
 
exactly right, as i said earlier. plus these are arv's right? if so, theyre gonna noodle out after like ten times anyway, so i wouldnt worry about it.
