idk what happened they are just so chipped just after hitting a couple rails is this normal +k for answers

Same thing happened with my chronics, but its purely cosmetic. Top sheets are beat to hell but the bases and edges are in great shape.

at least you didnt title it MASSIVE DELAM ON AFTERBANGS like some kids do when their skis chip.

pics?

I thought the title said "My line afterbangs are chipped so badly after one season" and I was gonna say, you skied a whole season on them already.

But it's fine, my disorderly's chipped a lot when I first used them.

the ski wont be affected by some little chips all over the place, but if they are gouged out and you can see the core, snow has a chance to get in there and cause the wood to expand like a core shot to the base.

im sure its just cosmetic though. post up some pics.

Top sheet chipping happens on EVERY ski (besides cap construction skis - but even then it happens some times). I've chipped my skis while riding a chair lift - literally brand new skis, never skied them before, put them on, got on the chair, by the time I got to the top of the hill the tails of my skis had at least 4 chips in them, haha. Don't worry about it, it's all cosmetic (although, it's hard to tell where the top sheet ends and the core begins on A-Bangs, but I think they'll be fine).

think of it like its construction... skateboards get thrashed around chiped and worse thing but are still perfectly rideable. the only reason they wont be ridable is if there ike snaped in half... hahaha

No offense to Line since their skis are so fun to ride but they have never really been known for their durability. And since afterbangs are a sidewall construction ski the topsheets will continue to chip until they are rounded off.
