My Generation...

Semi-deep question here... What is our generation? Discuss. Are we radical revolutionaries fighting for a brighter future, blunt minded slackers wasting away on a couch in front of Family Guy and adult swim, sharp young business turks ready to ride a bull market the full eight, artists, willing to create, think and live outside of the box, or rich bitches who have never had to depend on themselves for anything of value? Who are we? Are we?

I'll go ahead and say that I think we are a bunch of materialistic swine who care more about bullshit on MTV and E! and what we are waring then what really matters.

nope i dont have anything to do with that shit. the "generation" does not include everyone.

A LESSON FROM A HARDCORE SMOKER:

if your really hardcore you can just smoke out of your hands. make a loose fist but keep your fingers together and pack the entire empty space in the middle with herb. then open up your pinky finger enough so that the herb doesnt fall out but you can light it. then just breath in from the top hole and ull get mad respect -eastar5

yet, there will be labels, 10 15 20 years down the line we will be remembered as...

fill in the fucking blank, you are part of this generation, it doesn't have to be from my little list, those are just some ideas, but there will be one all encompassing label put on us, what do you think it is, what do you see yourself and those people your age as

it really matters who you are but i think that we are lazy pieces of shit who just sit at the computer or watch tv and eat all day

some people might think that our generation will do something great like cure cancer or something else great, but i just dont see our generation doing that

we are a product of baby boomers- for sure. more and more dependant on our parents that ever before. more than 75% of us will depend on our parents for some monetary value until 25 years old. I can only really identify what is going on in the present- and that is our being overly protected by our parents (see sport-fanatic parents). i cannot see what the future will bring thought. i hope we dont grow up a bunch of fuckin panzies and wusses.

Our generation is basically the unfortunate kids who sit and watch jessica simpson talk about chastity on MTV, and the rich anchormen of CNN tlak about how all the kids of Africa are sadly dying of AIDS, even though they really couldn't care less.

like said before ^^, we are becoming more and more lazy and technology advances. our parents do everything for us and we reap the benefits. we are spoiled- but not rich. how this manifests itself will be quite interesting. will we depart from our parents or encompass their ideas? the baby boomers themselves, if you remeber correctly, signified a great departure from their parents as kennedy ushered in a new generation. but we do we have? bush? i dont think he really is the voice of gen z

I don't think we have found our voice yet, but I do agree that we are spoiled and have been handed a whole lot more then those before us

Because I only see it from one angle, and I wanted to see how different people in different situations in different parts of the nation see it
