My loser friend just bought Line Cronics and he got the 165 i think somewhere in the 160 range. And he said they were to small so he's sending them back to get the 175's. He is about 150 pounds and 5'7. I told him this was a bad move am i wrong?

Hint of jealousy...maybe?

175's are fine

He could use either. If he can handle the longer skis, then it's great. Looks much smother and you've got more surface to jump and land with = going bigger. Shorter is easier to control easier to spin. It's all up to rider preference.

Screw this I'm going skiing

I was only kidding about the jealousy. He should be able to handle them though. Line's typically run 2 cm shorter than the length they are marked I believe, so a 175 isn't too long. It would make more sense if he was still growing, but since he is a good skier he should be fine. He'll most likely need the extra length later on anyways.
