I wanted this bike as soon as it came out. I asked my dad and he said we wil ltrade in your TTR-225 and get this. I also had to save up some money to for some of it. This is the only bike in stock in where i live and i was pumped to get it. Turns out one of my good buddies texts me yesterday and is liek dude i got that bike. He traded in his KFX 450 race ready decked out 8,000 dollar quad for that. This bike, you can ride trail/street with it so i was pumped to get it and couldn't wait to drive it on the road in a year. Turns out he got it, he's spoiled and didn't have to pay a dime. I was so mad, he had a CRF150R before he got his quad and he was horrible he is like 5'6 and probabaly barely touches ground. Whatever he wants he gets, my other friends DR-Z 400 weighs like 260 and this bike weighs 271 dry. The kid dropped his CRF about 20 times. He is going to die on it. Well im going to see that kid at his sisters grad party now. What a dick, he knew i wanted that tooo. :[
 
shit happens man... you cant live or die on it... im sure the shop is going to have another bike, you just have to wait a little bit

and if you cant ride street for a year i wouldnt be to worried about whether or not you have that for until a year comes around... some spoiled kids are going to get what they want... i want to go to a ski academy, but instead i kid i know went skiing for the first time this year, only went 5 days total, is going to the academy... why? cuz his parents are rich... its just how life is going to be
 
There will always be people like this. I think you are overacting a bit. So who paid for that bike you're dad said you could trade in for it?
 
dude it doenst matter im sure u could get a new one if u haad the money and order one or something or get a different one wait till you have the money.
 
what a cunt. He bought it even tho he knew you were saving up for it. You have every right to be pissed off, but seriously its not like you cant still get that bike. Theres bound to be lots more online, and for better prices. Not the end of the world, but still a dick move by your 'friend'

My parents do okay and get me some nice things, I drive a pretty nice car. My friend's parents do really well and he drives a $45,000 car. Am I jealous? Yes. Is he a tool? No.

Find a different shop.
 
Dude just wait until he gets bored of it like he did with his quad. Then just buy it off him for cheaper then you were going to buy it new.
 
yeah shure there are going to be others like it and he can get another one later. but the entire point of this thread is about how his friend pulled a fucking dick move. he knew you wanted it, so he got it before you. i can understand where you are coming from man. i live in a town where it is all rich sons of bitches that get whatever they want. and yet like most people in the world we have to work for what we want. so yeah you have every right to be pissed off.
 
who cares that he got the same bike as you. Stop whining you will be better of in the long run that you were not handed everything.

my cousin used to do this to me all the time. i'd show him something cool on the internet i was getting, he would buy it. or i would buy something and he'd buy it after me. one ski season he had the same helmet, skis, pants and poles as me...i wanted to fucking kill myself. in the long run yeah it is bitchy, i am bitchy, but i see where the guy is coming from.
 
if anyone of my friends/family did that i would make fun of them relentlessly every time i saw them.

oh dude i make fun of him all the time. but seriously every time i went skiing i felt like a fucking tool/jackass/retard cause i matched him. i was so pissed at him that year...plus he tells people how he is all good in the park and shit and he just sits there. he doesn't even TRY boxes, 10ft. jumps fucking nothing. fuck i'm gonna go to his house and kill him, just cause i'm pissed at him now.
 
no im actually not jealous, im just mad at the fact he gets whatever he wants when he wants. Just gets me mad. and no shit i know there are going to be more than one of that bike. He also lost alot of money on the trade hahahah
 
yupp, did the same thing to some kid who used to be my friend, now his sis is like in love with me and i told him i hated how spoiled he was and shit. works wonders.
