My friend got busted using my pass

they made him buy 2 lift tickest (holiday rate) and called me to "investigate" the situation. hes moving to georgia and i just thought it would be no big deal if he borrowed it for a day. now i have to talk to security to get it back next time i want to go skiing

he initially told them that he just took it without me knowing and when they called me i said i let him use it for the day thinking honesty would pay off...but i guess not.

he just landed a job as a boarder protection officer and made the mistake of telling them where he worked....they want his boss to call the resort security and discuss the situation. seems a little to far to me

ive used my friends pass all year at a couple places near me, hint, at a couple places where you dont have to pull out your pass to have it scanned...i have passes to other places, just use his when i go to these 2 places. he looks very little like me, i just know all his info, but i have never needed to say it. just initiate a convo with the checker as you walk up, they scan and glance at the gun and dont say a thing. worked for me 40-50 days so far, never once have i been second guessed.

When a friend borrows a pass, they must always know that if they are caught, both of you claim that he took it without you knowing. He should have also claimed that he's really sorry, it will never happen again, and he didn't know it was a problem blah blah blah... but that's the only way to get out with the least amount of trouble.
generally if you do that he will have to buy a day pass and you will be told to watch your shit more carefully. if you say you let him, you may lose your pass.
