My first tattoo

if you cared to read (or if you know how to read?), the op asked if anyone else had tattoos.

so he posted to show his.

My only critizism for what is an otherwise awesome tat is that the second line starts with "that" at least in my view and the word "that" is at the end of the top which makes it seem unbalanced.. But whatever, I still love it.

ive had this for a few years...

i dig the crj quote and I def. want something similar. CRJ was an inspiration to me too, and I can understand why you'd get it under yer heart. Mad respect from me.

working on drawing a tatoo for the top of my left foot. I am either going to go with a super basic, abstract sketch or a really intricate, geographically accurate sketch.

i was reading what he said and im like, wow this sounds like joey spencer..... THEN I SAW HE WAS JOEY SPENCER!!! OMGOMGOGMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG why dont you have an orange name yet

Its really beautifull dude, I've had that qoute on my wall for a few months now, looking at it everyday and see if I still like it as much in one year and wanted to get it too then. Its Probably one of the best qoutes that I ever heard, so great decision and im pretty sure you won't regret it. Spreading CR's thoughts and love.

just wondering, but what makes a tattoo terrible? he is obviously proud of his tats and that's awesome, because it's all about personal preference. what gives you the right to deem them terrible? because you wouldn't get them/don't like them? don't be so judgmental, and stop shitting on his parade.

I worked in a tattoo studio that takes a lot of pride over their work, where every artist has over 6 months waiting list and people travel from all over the country to get tattooed by them for quite a while.

That's the same thing I thought, kind of weird that the artist would put it that way but I guess it's not that awful

here's a tattoo i sketched for my boyfriend. all thats left is to have it redrawn and he needs to put money aside to do it

the yeti is on his arm, the flag goes to his pec and the skier goes right under the flag!

the Yeti is random, indeed, he just finds it badass

skateboarding and skiing, especially skiing are his passion, and the NS tattoo on the yeti is, well obviously for this site, and the Quebec flag is sortof obvious.

it really represents him well though ;)

Not gonna lie, this tattoo looks ridiculous. Your boyfriend must be a loser to think a cartoon sasquatch holding a french flag looks sweet. Same goes to the guy up above with all the gay zombie shit all over his body. What were you thinking? "Yo people are gonna think i'm so cool now that i have these sick tats"?. Sorry bud

as i said, its a sketch, the real drawing is going to be made by a tattoo artist, and its not supposed to be a rock haha, its going to be mountains in the background

If either of those people had a portrait of CR on their arm across from a lion with his quote and the rasta colors you would think it was the coolest thing in the world.

Shut the fuck up and stop being a hypocrite.

ohhh sorry didnt see that. but still looks sick... i kind of like the idea of the yeti its pretty badass

I think the whole C.R. Johnson thing is way overrated and wouldn't get that shit on me in a million years. I'm not some retard who gets the first inspirational ski quote that pops in my head tattoo'd on me. Really can't stand rasta either. No clue where the lion came from.

I've thought about getting the lion with CR's quote under it but way to unoriginal. still thinking about getting a lion on my right shoulder blade area, because lions are the king of the jungle, and has no fear.

who fucking cares if you dont like it. as long as the person who has it does, thats all that counts, it fine that you dont love it, but dont go judging person by what he wants as a tattoo

In all honesty, people can and will judge you by what kind of tatto's you have. Walking around thinking nobody can judge me and as long as i like it is all that matters. People will look differently at your boyfriend, not so much for having a tattoo but for what it is of. And to get the NS symbol on the arm is going to be pretty regretable seeing as one day this site won't be around but he still will.

You'll realize when you get into the business world, First impressions are more important than anything. Its not the ski hill where the more colours you have in your tattoo, the cooler you are. It doesn't work the same. How many decently successful people do you see out there (Not including musicians or sports stars as nobody in this thread will ever be one) that are inked up. Exactly.

First off, the tatto will be on me. I dont realy care what people like you think of it for two reasons:

1: its my skin, my tastes

2: If little douchebags like you decide to judge me and not talk to me.... AWSOME! I just avoided a shallow individual from being a part of my life.

The NS symbol on the arm may be something you find regretable but your a noob here and you might not know me or what relationship I have with ns. I have been an intern at newschoolers for 2 years of my life where I have made the best contacts and life lessons. it grew me as a person and pushed me in the ski industry and into filmmaking. it is more than just a website to me. but thanks for judging.

and the subject matter of the tattoo is something way more interesting when its original. it makes a conversation ( I forgot douchebags dont do much of that, they judge and leave) So why the fuck a yeti! and a goofy looking one? Im a goofy individual and this represents me a lot. Like a yeti I have a lone wolf attitude and I love snow.

anyways thanks for sharing your thoughts in douchely manner, please enjoy my response in the most direct and acurate manner.

No problem bud. Glad to here that when your nervous to talk with anyone, all you have to do is pull up your shirt and boom, conversation starter. Someone's thinkin

I work with electricians you make fun of guys like you on a daily basis. And If I were to choose between 2 electricians, one looking presesntable and the other one you , to do some work, I wouldn't hesitate on my choice. This goes for the vast majority of the population too and you know that

I never took pride in other people's work. I said I worked in a good studio to explain the fact that I understand what is a good quality tattoo, rather than a piece of shit shop where they take no pride in their work and are happy giving terrible tattoos just to make some profit.

I also never claimed to have talent, yes I was the receptionist/assistant but that does not mean I didn't learn a hell of a lot about the art of tattooing, and what makes tattoos really great.

Congratulations on using the age old stereotype of British having bad teeth, I'm pretty sure my teeth are in better condition than yours.

All i'm saying is that where i'm from, if you have tattoos as ridiculous as yours, you would be limiting yourself from potentially more successful opportunities in life. How many dads do you see at the hockey rink or ball diamond do you see cheerin on their kids covered in ink? Its just a very near sighted and most likely regrtful decision for someone to make.
