woke up this morning and i had a lot of extra "sand" around my eye (upon further inspection, i pulled a lot of like mucusy film from my eye with a q-tip), it hurts to blink (the pain is in the bottom of my eye) and i was really teary this morning...now it was kinda redish (irritation of me rubbing maybe) but i put some visine in and its not red anymore (if it was pink eye would it wstay red?)

trying to figure out what this is....
 
not pink eye, it would still be red, probably just something in your eye over night. -someone who has had pink eye 3 times in the last 4 months

you can buy polysporin eye drops, try that out, if its an infection or anything like that it will help
 
This. My eye is all red and hurts right now also but it usually goes away in a day or two. You probably got some dirt in your eye overnight or if you wear contacts it could be them that caused it because that is what usually happens with me.

Anyways it can def be a form of Pink Eye, but its depending if its Bacterial, or Viral.
 
If the pain is like in your eye lid down by your eyelashes it could be a stye. It it just a clogged duct. Warm compresses followed by rubbing it should break up the clog.

pink eye. i've had that too. go to your doctor asap and get prescription eye drops. dont touch your other eye, it will spread. also dont touch anybody else unless you wanna be a dick
 
Have you been welding or been close to a person welding in the past 8-12hrs? it could be flash, or you may have got a zit under the eye socket. web md would be a safe bet if your a hypocondriack
 
OP I had this exact thing last year, its a cyst/stye forming in your eyelid. Go put a warm towel (run it under warm/hot water) on it right now, seriously the longer you wait to treat it the worse it gets, I learned that the hard way, I had to get surgery to remove my cysts and at one point my whole eye was pretty much crusty puffy and shut. And I recommend going to the doctor asap, eye shit is no fun.

It's not arc flash. The blisters in your eye would not peel off, but break every time you blink. And its way more than a bit painful. You cant sleep with it, and if you can, you are more a god than a person.
 
This seems more like an STD, could be eyelash crabs, they infect your eye. I suggest shaving your eyebrows and eyelashes. That should get rid of them. Problem solved
