My college sucks

Today was my first day of school as a freshman in college and for the intro to computers class which I am required to take you are required to own office 2007 professional (it comes bundled with the books) now my problem is i am runnning a powerbook so the newest office available for mac is 2004 and i cant run bootcamp so it looks like i am going to have to do all my work at school in their lab. :(
 
you would know if you met the teacher, she told us today all she does is lecture because she likes the sound of her voice
 
class was so epic today first she told us that there are two major operating systems; windows vista and windows xp then she tried to demonstrate a program and froze up her comp and had to ctrl alt delete out. then we did this exercise where we had to learn how to use a mouse
 
she was serious and she never said 2 major microsoft systems or anything like that, i thought it was nice poetic justice that her computer froze

Seriously though, next time be like..."Um, I think you forgot about Macintosh and Linux...yeah? Maybe you should mention those hmm?" It'd be epic.
 
Kip, working in the lab aint that bad. That class sounds easy as fuck though. Thats how college is though, you start at like the very basics in computer classes.
 
its bullshit that i am in it though, not to be cocky but i could probably pwn her on any of that shit... i challenged the equivalent class when i was a sophomore in high school and i was the first kid at my high school to pass the challenge test
 
hah i just saw 2 computer labs in my new school...one filled with orange, blue, green old imacs displayed together like flowers, and the other one has about 4140154! 20 inch imacs g5
