since COLE. posted the video of one of our friends jensen kimmitt who won the national championship of yoyoing, i thought i would update NS on my brother, who also competed. he got 19th in the semifinals, behind mostly asians, but for his age, he is number 2 in the world. check his freestyle:

I think I have my old Yomega yo-yo's from middle school. Yo-yo was a pretty cool fad, a lot less expensive than Pokemon.

yeah and he's got nationals next month too. the kid whos better than him is named takeshi from japan, and he made finals in 3 different categories of yoyoing he is insane

well I THINK.....

each judge has a clicker, with which they click every time the yoyo hits the string in a different way. the objective is to obtain lots of clicks, while still scoring points for performance, originality, difficulty, etc..... or something like that.

my brother is the one whos crazy with the yoyo, but as for me, i can only understand a fraction of what is going on since i cant even make the yoyo come back up...
 
yeah I'm sure he will especially appreciate it. I laughed so hard the first time I saw that vid. everything about it is awesome, even his outfit.
