My broke ass needs a new camera

Hey, I’m just a broke resort employee but this year I want to take the coolest footage and hopefully work on some edits / short film whatsoever, any recommendations for some budget friendly video camera to look for? Also second hand and what are the ones that suck and i shouldn’t buy ?
 
the vx1000 produces 4k footage for little more than $600 on ebay, they are indestructbale and have a massive LCD.

^ Ditto sony ax series is a good buy...if you're into photography/strictly using a fisheye you could think about a6300/gh3/gh4
 
Went pretty hard a couple years back researching this I highly suggest the Canon g30 or g40. They have a g70 now but you can find g30 or g40 used all over the place on ebay and FB marketplace what not for like $500-$600 and totally worth it. Dont get g10 or g20 though the g30 is when they made some big model upgrades
